Youth Ministry
The Linary Youth Group is committed to being a Christ Centered community where teens can grow spiritually, strengthen their relationship with God, their friends and their parents, where they can dive into the Word of God with open minds and hearts and where they will be loved unconditionally!
We align our goals with the Bible: Loving each other, worshiping God, maturing in our faith, reaching the lost and serving the world around us, all in the name of Jesus and for the Glory of God the Father!
Classes
Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights are times that the youth group consistently gets together to accomplish the goals above. Each meeting and class provides an opportunity for the teens to connect with God, each other and Adult Leaders. The Youth are encouraged to participate in the Children's Ministry as well, ranging from Children's Church, special events and VBS. On Sunday Nights, our teens attend Small Groups with their families or fellowship with the rest of the Church, allowing all generations to grow closer to one another!
Coming this Summer:
"The Gathering"
On most Tuesday Nights at 6:30 p.m. we participate in "The Gathering", a fun, laid-back get together where we play, laugh, worship and fellowship. We meet at the church, at the park or at various members houses!
Special Events
Throughout the year we will participate in HUGE events, in which we can set aside time way from our "normal" lives in order to completely envelop ourselves in God's community, for the purpose of being changed by HIM! Ranging from Winterfest in February, to IMPACT in June, to Spring, Summer and Fall Retreats, Lock-Ins and Mission Trips, the teens will always have opportunities to encounter God in life changing ways during these special activities.
Service
There are also unlimited amounts of opportunities for the Youth to participate in local service projects, in which they are able to go out into the world and provide help for those in need. These events include monthly times of serving at Meals and More, seasonal service projects, World Vision's 30 Hour Famine, Adopt-a-Highway and many more!
